If I call someone and the phone says they are “not accepting calls at this time” I wonder:

1. Is this for me specifically?
2. Why am I not allowed to leave a voicemail? Shouldn’t they just turn the phone off or put it on vibrate?
3. What if I was dead in a ditch?
